Κατά τη σχολική χρονιά 2024-2025, οι μαθητές και μαθήτριες του τμήματος Α2 της Α’ Γυμνασίου της Ευαγγελικής Σχολής συμμετείχαν με ενθουσιασμό στο ευρωπαϊκό πρόγραμμα eTwinning με τίτλο «Einander kennen lernen – Deutsch ohne Grenzen» («Γνωρίζουμε ο ένας τον άλλον – Γερμανικά χωρίς σύνορα»), με υπεύθυνη εκπαιδευτικό την καθηγήτρια Γερμανικών κ. Ξανθή Τσαπάρα.
Στο πρόγραμμα συμμετείχαν σχολεία από έξι ευρωπαϊκές χώρες: Ελλάδα, Πολωνία, Φινλανδία, Ουγγαρία, Κροατία και Τουρκία, ενώ η γλώσσα επικοινωνίας ήταν τα γερμανικά, σε επίπεδο Α1/Α2. Βασικός στόχος της δράσης ήταν η αυθεντική χρήση της γερμανικής γλώσσας σε πραγματικές συνθήκες επικοινωνίας, έξω από το πλαίσιο του παραδοσιακού μαθήματος, καθώς και η ενίσχυση της διαπολιτισμικής ευαισθησίας των μαθητών μέσω της συνεργασίας με συνομηλίκους από άλλες χώρες.
Οι συμμετέχοντες αξιοποίησαν πλήθος ψηφιακών εργαλείων, όπως το Padlet, Canva, Storyjumper, Mentimeter, TwinSpace και Google Slides, και ανέπτυξαν πληθώρα δημιουργικών δραστηριοτήτων. Κατά τη διάρκεια του προγράμματος:
·Δημιούργησαν λογότυπα για το έργο και συμμετείχαν σε ψηφοφορία μεταξύ των εταίρων για την επιλογή του τελικού λογοτύπου.
·Παρουσίασαν τους εαυτούς τους μέσα από αυτοπαρουσιάσεις και αλληλεπίδρασαν με μαθητές άλλων χωρών.
·Κατασκεύασαν χριστουγεννιάτικες κάρτες με ευχές στα γερμανικά, τις οποίες αντάλλαξαν με συνεργαζόμενα σχολεία.
·Συμμετείχαν στη δημιουργία ενός ψηφιακού συννεφόλεξου με ευχές για το νέο έτος.
·Ερεύνησαν και παρουσίασαν παραδοσιακές ελληνικές συνταγές στα γερμανικά.
·Ανέδειξαν πολιτιστικά στοιχεία παρουσιάζοντας έθιμα και παραδόσεις, όπως το πέταγμα του χαρταετού την Καθαρά Δευτέρα.
Μέσα από όλες αυτές τις δραστηριότητες, οι μαθητές καλλιέργησαν τις δεξιότητές τους στη γερμανική γλώσσα, τη συνεργασία, τη δημιουργικότητα και τον ψηφιακό γραμματισμό, ενώ ήρθαν σε επαφή με τις κουλτούρες άλλων ευρωπαϊκών λαών, αναπτύσσοντας το αίσθημα της ευρωπαϊκής πολιτειότητας.
Το πρόγραμμα ολοκληρώθηκε με διαδικτυακή τηλεδιάσκεψη μεταξύ των συμμετεχόντων σχολείων, κατά την οποία οι μαθητές είχαν την ευκαιρία να γνωριστούν "ζωντανά", να συνομιλήσουν στα γερμανικά και να μοιραστούν την εμπειρία τους.
Η συμμετοχή στο eTwinning αποτέλεσε για τους μαθητές μια ιδιαίτερα θετική και εποικοδομητική εμπειρία, καθώς ενίσχυσε την αυτοπεποίθηση και το ενδιαφέρον τους για τη γλώσσα και τον ευρωπαϊκό διάλογο.
Class A2 of Evangeliki School participates in the European eTwinning project “Einander kennen lernen – Deutsch ohne Grenzen”
During the 2024–2025 school year, the students of Class A2 of the 1st Grade of Evangeliki School of Nea Smyrni enthusiastically participated in the European eTwinning program titled “Einander kennen lernen – Deutsch ohne Grenzen” (“Getting to Know Each Other – German Without Borders”), under the guidance of their German teacher, Ms. Xanthi Tsapara.
The project brought together schools from six European countries: Greece, Poland, Finland, Hungary, Croatia, and Turkey, with German serving as the common language of communication at the A1/A2 level. The aim of the program was to promote the authentic use of the German language in real-life communication contexts beyond the classroom and to develop students' intercultural awareness through contact with peers across Europe.
Throughout the program, the students made use of a variety of digital tools such as Padlet, Canva, Storyjumper, Mentimeter, TwinSpace, Google Slides, and others, and participated in a range of creative and collaborative activities:
· They designed logos for the project and took part in a voting process among the participants to select the final version.
· They introduced themselves through digital presentations, interacting with peers from other countries.
· They created handmade Christmas cards with wishes in German and exchanged them with partner schools.
· They compiled a digital Christmas album and collaboratively created a word cloud expressing New Year wishes.
· They explored the theme of “Food in Europe” by presenting traditional Greek recipes in German (e.g., Greek salad, scrambled eggs with tomato, and loukoumades).
$1· They shared customs and traditions by presenting local festivals, such as Clean Monday and the kite flying tradition in Greece.
These engaging activities helped students enhance their language proficiency, teamwork, creativity, and digital literacy, while at the same time exposing them to diverse European cultures. One of the highlights of the project will be an upcoming online video conference with the partner schools, giving students the opportunity to meet and communicate live in German.
The program had a clearly positive impact on the participants, fostering their motivation, confidence, and interest in the German language. Above all, it contributed to shaping their European identity and strengthening the values of active citizenship, collaboration, and cultural respect, which are essential in today’s world.
